Another week, another book.
(Click to read my review here.)
I finished this book last week, but never got around to writing my review until last night. I’m already halfway through my next “book”.
The quotation marks (which would be quotey fingers if we were talking in real life because I am a big fan of the quotey fingers) are there because I am actually halfway through listening to it on my Kindle.
Remember when I got that last book on my Kindle for my long drive? Well, I got 2 credits with my free audible trial, so I picked another one before going home last weekend.

This was the second time I had this in my possession. The first was a Kindle library book that I didn’t get around to reading before it expired and was removed through the wonders of magic and internet tubes from my Kindle.
I only really listen to books on tape during long road trips though, so I’m going to pick up a real live copy from the library to finish it. I’m hoping it will get better though, because as far as keeping me awake during a road trip goes? Notsomuch.
Do you listen to audiobooks?

I’ve never listened to audio books; the idea is not appealing to me in the slightest. I prefer holding the book in my hands and reading it. The Night Circus is next on my reading list and I hope it’s good!
I’ve never utilized audio books but hang in there with Night Circus. Loved that book.
Hope that it gets better! It sounded so good when I heard about it. I’ve never made it through an audiobook, sometimes I have to see it to process verbal things when they are complex- does that make sense?
I loved the audiobook of The Night Circus. It is a little slow for a long drive though. I have a long commute to work 4 days a week and listen to audiobooks a lot during my drive.
You might like the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness. It starts with The Knife of Never Letting Go. The books are action packed and the narrators are great and make the stories come alive. Much more exciting than The Night Circus.
When we used to take long car trips, my mom and I would check out books on CD for the ride. I can’t really sit and listen to a book, though. My mind wanders too easily without reading the words myself.
