You know what today is, right?!?!
It’s out!! A new book by JK Rowling!!
She of Harry Potter fame. She, the master of weaving an intricate (and awesome) plotline and story. She, who has not, until now, written a book for an adult audience.
The sucky part is that I don’t have the book in my hot little hands. In fact, I’m pretty far down on the waiting list at the library.
An open letter to all those ahead of me on the list: READ FASTER!!!
There should be an unspoken rule for newly released books with wait lists at the library. Namely – if you can’t start to read the book INSTANTLY, you give up your place in line.
Let’s start that rule now, shall we?

Thanks for the reminder about the book. I’m now #636 in line for it. Boo.
There was an interesting interview with Rowling on NPR about the book (which I’m sure you know, since you’re the only person I know who listens to as much NPR as I do). I’ve not got the book either, but it sounds interesting.
I’m sure I’ll read in 5 years from now and not because I’m 50034573 on the waiting list but because I’m always 5 years behind. But guess what!!! I finished The Hunger Games and I really liked it and I just realized it’s October first which means I can borrow the second book from Amazon. Woohoo!
