It seems like every Friday I look back on my week and think How did I make it through that?!?!
But I did. And I do.
Never mind the fact that the exam I gave on Wednesday had a pretty major typo (as in, I forgot to delete the answer) and never mind the fact that I pulled a semi-copout watch a movie day today and never mind the fact that I graded ALL.DAY. LONG. yesterday.
I am so close to being caught up with grades and as soon as I teach my class this morning and finish grading the last 7 papers, I’m out of here.
I am heading home for my niece’s first birthday party.
Never mind the fact that I will be in the car for 4.5 hours, I get to see and play with this little cutie!
I have several presents in tow for her. A book (natch), a fleece jacket, some kiddie toys, and some fleece.
Never mind the fact that the fleece is supposed to be a stroller blanket, but I haven’t made it yet because I ordered the fleece online and when it came in I realized that the colors aren’t even remotely similar.
It doesn’t even matter though, because when I went to create a return label for it, Amazon let me know that I get the return and I don’t even have to actually return the fleece.
I think that means I do too much online shopping. I hereby vow to shop only when necessary. I need to start saving for Christmas gift-giving season, after all.
Any who, it’s Friday. I’ve got a fun weekend ahead of me – party on Saturday, Packer game on Sunday, and maybe even a little more shopping. Back off. There’s no Target near here, so when I get near one, it’s all systems go.
And Penzey’s Spices just happens to be near the Target. And a Joann’s fabric store. And a tea shop.
Oh crap. Never mind. I recall my previous vow to shop less.
I’m already over it.
I’ll leave you for the weekend with this gem.
Finish line sprint. The only 20 yards we ran the entire race.
Best facial expressions ever. We should get a prize for that. We didn’t even plan it.
