What do you do after having an ultra-crappy day that starts with shoveling about 8 inches of snow at 7 am, only to get into your car and get stuck 15 minutes later and ends with you near tears?
You call it a day at 2:45 and head to the library to get your next victim book.
If you’re lucky, the book on hold is a mere 144 pages and has more pictures than words. It is a fast read. It makes you think after you put it down.
Most importantly, it takes your mind off of that crappy day you’ve since put behind you.
You’ll read it, and then you’ll write a review of it, while it is still fresh in your mind.
The speed at which you post your review will have nothing to do with the fact that you WON THE CHALLENGE! And you were EARLY by THREE WHOLE WEEKS.
No, but still, you’ll feel much better after that.
Hypothetically speaking, of course.
Have you ever read a graphic novel?

Congratulations!
I hope that I don’t get a message about my lack of 50 books logged…:D
I read one graphic novel for a course “Fun Home” by Alison Bechdel. It was great but a little too close for comfort.
There are some really interesting looking ones out there! What’s next for you now that you have achieved your 50?
Woot, Woot! 50!
I read a graphic novel a few years ago – so “memorable” that I don’t even remember the name. Not my cup of tea, though.
Now, are you an overachiever? Anything you read between now and the end of the year counts as extra credit or you start counting for next year?
